Deris Nagara is an exceptional leader who is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree at Columbia University. Additionally, he is a Graduate Summer Student at Stanford, further showcasing his dedication to academic excellence and his commitment to positively impacting the world. In July 2023, Deris established Darma Nagara Mandaya (DANAYA), a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth empowerment, advancing human development, and advocating for high-quality education in alignment with the SDGs. 

He serves as the President of the SIPA Students Association (SIPASA) 2023. Moreover, he holds the esteemed position of President of the ASEAN-Korea Frontier Forum (AKFF) Community 2023-2025, where he actively promotes collaboration and dialogue among ASEAN and Korean youth to address pressing global challenges in line with the SDGs. Furthermore, he is a prominent leader in promoting youth empowerment and education. As an individual deeply committed to fostering intercultural exchange, exemplifying leadership qualities, and actively engaging with communities, he has devoted his life to championing youth empowerment, promoting community development, and enhancing the quality of education for more than nine years, starting from 2013.
